Welcoming December

December.

It is wrong if I say that every month in a year is just the same. Nope. For me there's always something special in every month. Like January for me is like a Preface in a book. February is a month when I feel I've broke my all resolution. March, April, May are months when I feel I most busy. June is the month to welcome holiday. July, when I have my birthday, is the month to start something new. Including renewing my resolution. August, month full of togetherness, people gather together to celebrate Indonesia Independence Day. September, October, November are again busy months. And the last, but not least, is December.

I've heard some songs about December. Mostly Christmas songs. Yeah, December is the month when Christmas is being celebrated. That's one of the facts why I like December. Smelling the scent of Christmas. Decorate the christmas tree, decorate the entire house with christmas ornaments, playing christmas songs, eating cake (since I don't have oven to make cake here in Serpong), and many more activities.

Beside all those things, one thing I really feel about Christmas is peace.

Peace when you know that Jesus has come to save us, human being. He pay the price that actually cost us. It's only by His grace that we can live like this! Maybe this sounds cliche, but I have never bored knowing this fact. Thank You, Lord!

December, ah. It's a reminder for me. There's only six months left before SNMPTN. I have to prepare my self. This holiday, I want to study study and study. I need to be productive. I MUST do my best, my maximum capability to study so I can enter FKUI. Beside doing that, I also MUST pray harder harder and harder. Never stop praying! You must believe in the power of prayer.

So guys, I hope you have a wonderful December, wonderful holiday, wonderful Christmas.
Never stop fighting for your dreams. Never give up. BELIEVE and surrender all to God. Never stop praying.

Road To The Future: Cheer Yourself Up!

This is one of so many things that can cheer myself up!

I set this as my phone background. I made this one from my blackberry and I captured it with an application called 'Capture It' from my phone.

You know what, everytime I feel like I lose my way, when I feel like it's all to dreamy to come true and the road is to hard, when I look at this background I feel relieved. I feel like nothing impossible.

* * *

Your favorite idol absolutely can cheer you up! Wait a minute, I don't mean your idol should come to meet you first then you could be cheerful.
Just seeing picture of them, or listening to their song (if they are musician or singer), or watching their movies (if they are actor/actress) can boost your mood up!

My favorite idol is (I bet you've known) Kaka! And when I see his picture or watching him play on a match I always happy and got ecstatic when he score a goal! Woohoo!

* * *

Jonk, Celline, Karina, me, Rosa

Friends...
No word can describe how friends can change a gloomy day into a bright one.
They certainly can cheer you up!

* * *

Entertain yourself! Do what you like!
For me, I like music. Play, listen to it, or sing it, compose it, I like them all.
Music always can make me feel right again :)

* * *

There are many more things you can do to cheer yourself up. When you get your best condition back, you always can do something better and get the future that you want!

Road To The Future: What I Want To Be

I found this motivational quote (with the cute puppy as the background) from here.

We should like our self in the past, in the present and be joyful about what us are to become!
Us in the future is what us are doing in the present life. What we do now determine what we become in the future. Want to be smart? Study now! Want to successful? Work hard now!

So, the point is, to be what you want in the future, do something relevant to it in the present!
Wish you (and me too) luck :)

Road To The Future: Enjoy The Present

How do you enjoy your life?

The path we've taken, the way we go through, the past behind us, the future awaiting for us, the life we're living.

I got series of way to enjoy my life. Enjoy the present! Well it's literally present. Breathe we're taken is a gift from God. And we got to be thankful of this unpaid present :D

Beside the present present, we also need to enjoy the present. This time I mean the recent time, the present we live.

We often look behind and can not let go of our past, whether it's a nice memory or a bad one. We live in our memories and forget that we have a present life to live on.

I saw a quote from Joel Osteen and it said, "I'm throwing away my rearview mirror. I'm not looking back anymore. I'm not looking to the left or to the right. I'm looking straight ahead. I'm pressing forward, knowing God has good things in store for me".

It is a very wonderful quote. Let go of the past, but don't forget it. We can still reap the good things from the past. You have a present to live, you have a future to chase. To get your desirable future, you should prepare it and do something in the present. You can't just sit down and wait for a miraculous event to come and bring your dream to life. You should work hard to get what you want!
Live the best and the best will get you in future.

Well, I hope you enjoy my post and get some benefit from it. God bless you :)

Overcome The Underestimation

Sometimes I feel like no one count one me, like no one think that I can do it. People underestimate me. And the most inconvenient thing is, when they compare you with your friend! Gah, it really knocks you down, isn't it?

Well, that underestimation thing often loosen up my spirit to move on. Let's think, when you are trying to give your best but people don't look at you at all. Otherwise they're looking at your friend who's doing exactly same things with you and they cheer your friend up! Just because you don't have the good reputation like your friend! How is it? It is hurt!

But let's see from another way. What if you're giving your best effort? Though people underestimate you, though it feels hurt, you keep doing your best. Maybe people wouldn't appreciate your effort, but at least if you give your best you will be satisfied.

To avoid the falling spirit, I think from now on, you and me got to change our paradigms. Don't do something because of other people nor for other people. Do what you want, what you're happy about. Don't think about what people think, they often disappoint you. When people underestimate you, let them. They don't know you at all. They don't know your ability to give the best effort and be the best!

You Have NO Idea

Well! Today is a very great day! First of all, today is Easter Day. Happy easter all! Me and my sister went to a dawn service at school, that held by Komisi Remaja and Tunas Remaja GKI Gading Serpong. The service was good and I like the music. The sermon was great and it reminds me that we are winner. In fact, we are more than conqueror!

The second thing I love about today is : Madrid 6-3 Valencia
KAKA SCORED TWO GOALS! GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
Well, I didn't watch the match LIVE. But I'm watching the replay just now, as I write this post. Gosh, he made some assists either for Gonzalo Higuain! I almost cry when I see it. Just so emotional. He celebrated his goal by putting the ball inside his jersey and pretend that it's a pregnant woman stomach. Since his daughter is on her way, it's just so sweet!
Anyway, at first when I watch the Soccer One at TV One I didn't really pay attention. Because I think they just made a history roll, or madrid's moment or something. I didn't now that it's yesterday match! And when I know, I was rushing to open the internet and directly download the pictures! You have no idea how ecstatic I am! SPLENDID!

Thank You, Lord for today!

Worth Waiting For

There’s something of everything that worth waiting for. Even it’s a pleasure of waiting when what you are waiting for is the best of the best. But how do you know that it is the one? Yeah, this problem still becomes the major of problems.

I used to think that time will be the answer. Slowly or even fast but sure, you will know either you can keep waiting or stop expecting.

But you always could cheat on time. You could ‘test’ the thing that you have. But be careful, sometimes it could satisfy you but well, it could hurt you too. So, pick the option wisely. Don’t want to make a heartache, do you?

In the end, if you find the one worth waiting for, trust me it is really worth waiting for.

Kind regards,

Agaprita

Years of Nothing

Do you ever feel like after all this time, you just wasting your time with doing something not useful? Or do you ever feel so constant and even feel like you are walking at the same spot over and over? Are you tired of being so ordinary?

If you ask me those questions I will give you a very loud YES!

I've just realized that I have done NOTHING in this recent years. I haven't done any hard work, I just being a standard person, with a very short-minded goal in this life. Right I've set my target, but it's way too short-term one. Later I think, what will I do if, well hopefully, I reach this target. I haven't set any bigger long-term target!

Tonight, I get a brand new refreshment. I'm moving out of this ordinary teen life. I hope you would do so. For me, this not yet-adult-age is so intricate. The most intricate one is emotion. Well, like you have known, in this age we fall in love, we cry for a boy or a girl, we crave for attention, blah blah blah. Those are fact! And those are some intricate emotions! We absolutely can't deny it. But, aren't you bored and tired with them now? Because of our fluctuate emotions, seldom we forget about something that more important than just emotions or feelings. Our FUTURE!

No one can see their future. So what should we do to get a great future life? By doing a great PRESENT life! So, if you're living your teen life by give your emotional feeling a number one place in your mind, well I can conclude that you are not living a great present. That's what I did. For prove, you can see my older posts. LOL.

But hei, don't get me wrong. It's very good though to get some up and down emotion. It's human. But don't think about it too much. There will be time. I'll be honest, I was always thinking about a boyfriend. That killed my time! I was doing nothing useful. Just tweeted a 'galau' sentences, listen to 'galau' songs, etcetera. But now I realized I'm wasting my time! Boyfriend will come later in a perfect time. Though he won't come easily, LOL. Still need to find it, but not thinking about it too much. Teenage time is too short to use by just thinking about relationship. Think about what you want to achieve!

Tonight I also think about knowledge. I used to think that school is the most knowledgeable place. But once again, I'm WRONG! School is a place to learn something, and rarely EARN something. So, I think we need to earn something by open our eyes to the outside life. We are living a great hi-tech era. If we need something, just surf the internet and taaa daaa! we got it. Or go to the bookstore and find something we need. What a great pleasure. But still, I haven't use the chance as much as I can. So now, I want to repair that and I'm gonna live the fullest of life!

What Should I do?
Thank God I made my radical moves motto. I also made my resolutions to be a 'guidebook'. You should make one for you too. Stick to your guidebook. Don't forget to pray and let God give you the best. Trust in Him! Ready to live your fullest life? Let's Go!

Difficulties

I really consider about an adjective called 'difficult' or usually I called it 'susah' tonight.

Well, I wonder that if difficulty is not relative. Maybe difficulty would vanished easily. Or maybe there's no such thing as difficult. Because everyone will fill the same so there's no challenge at all. If one people couldn't do a thing, then everyone couldn't do it too.

But life would be flat if difficulty doesn't exist!

So why wouldn't we ignore the word difficult and change it into challenging?
This word kinda suite more than difficult itself.
Because when we hear the word difficult, our mind sets to refuse to work harder and then just give up on the thing we are into.
Different with challenging. Challenging sounds more, well, challenging! It makes we want to try harder and harder to do it. And when it finished, it would be so satisfying!

Let's change our mindset then. Life is way too fun to be wasted by thinking about difficulties.

SNMPTN

I have read the information about Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri or better known as SNMPTN. You will know some of the fact of the SNMPTN by go to this.

So, Indonesian government made two kinds of SNMPTN for students that want to continue their education at Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) all over Indonesia. The first one is test and the second one is jalur undangan.
If you have open the url I give, some of you might be thankful to the government by making the jalur undangan SNMPTN.

But I am not pro of jalur undangan SNMPTN. I have read Kompas.com, and it said that PTN receive about 60% of their freshman via this jalur undangan. Errr, that's just to much! Why didn't they make it just 35%? What about me that so DYING to go to Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia (FKUI) but my grade was not very bright? Well, I quite satisfied with my grade. But I'm not really confident. I'm not being chesty, but my school is so hard, and it's really difficult to get a real good score. What if the PTN receive someone that get higher score than me although their schools are nicer than my school. I smell an injustice!

I have talked to my cousin that just have graduated from Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia (FEUI) about this jalur undangan. He said that some of his friends that being one of the team that select the students who are qualified to go to Universitas Indonesia (UI) via jalur undangan also contra with the amount of receivement by jalur undangan. It just too much! YEAH, finally someone agree with me. They made some protest to decrease the amount.

But after all, I don't know what will the government do. But I believe that they will do the best. Anyway, beside the SNMPTN, UI also has one more way. SIMAK UI or Seleksi Masuk UI is the other gateway to UI. 40% of the selected students to UI is with this way. But I will try first for the jalur undangan. I hope I will be selected and I can go to FKUI! :D It's still 3 semesters to go, so I have to do my best. I have to focus on my score. I have to study hard and be the best. Radical move!

Wish me luck, guys. Thanks!

xoxo

Zero to Half to Hero and Forever Hero

I made my radical move motto.

Zero to Half to Hero and Forever Hero

Why This?

Zero is where I was. I have nothing to be proud of. I just live for life and let everything flows.
Half is where I am. I am a half of my full life now. I have found where I want to go, I have found what I want to do next, I set my goal. But I haven't started anything. Everything is just a plan. And human's plan is just a plan. Because God who make the real plan of our life.
Hero is where I want to be. When I reach my goal. When I live the fullest capability of me.
Forever hero is what I want. Being a hero forever. A hero because God helps me to reach my dream, to follow His way and obey Him.

Radical Move

I'm starting to think about radical move when I read my last posts. I was so crybaby. LOL. I admit it. So I don't want to focus on myself, I want to focus on my goal and how to reach it. I'm making a radical move!

So, please be ready to see a different me in this blog! Yeaah!
Thanks for reading :]
