Today was the eight aka my last SOOCA in the
bachelor program (yeay)!
Agaaaaaain, God did another miraculous wondrous
thing more than I can imagine :''')

It began with this past five weeks of tutorial
class. My tutor was a dermatologist and he was super smart, super kind, and it
was an enjoyable five weeks of tutorial class and I got so many knowledge from
this tutor. It was the last tutorial group in bachelor program and it surely
was a great ending for my life before co-assistant program.
You know what, actually this semester was a very
hectic semester. I needed to finish my minor thesis, doing the data record, data
analysis, making a journal, etc. Beside those minor thesis things, I still need
to study about family medicine and tropical medicine. I think God has a special
plan for me, He put me in this specific tutorial group with the specific tutor
to make me study hard. I actually really studied hard in this last system
(tropical medicine). One of the reason was because I enjoyed the tutorial class
and I thought I must study so I can participate more at the class.
The third from the last tutorial case was
leprosy. I got an important learning issue to be presented in the class about
the clinical findings of leprosy. So I studied about it. When I first presented
it, there were so many corrections from my tutor. So I dig more about the case.
I even covered my friend learning issue, which was the pathogenesis and
pathophysiology of the disease, and presented it to the tutor. My tutor again
corrected it and added important information related to the case. I was so
happy and I gain more knowledge about this disease from the master
(dermatologist)!
Leprosy was not an easy case. So when I
understand this case, many of my friends asked me about this case. Well, one of
the reason was because my tutor was a dermatologist so maybe my information was
trustworthy, hehe. Because of this, I started to pray that this SOOCA I want to
get leprosy. Even more, I prayed that the examiner is my tutor.
Sunday before the exams, two days before the
exams to be exact, I went to church. The preaching was from Phillipians 4:6.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
So I presented my request to God. I
didn’t worry at all because I have faith in Him and He has never failed me.
NEVER. I believe that day that I will get as what I wished. But of course I
prayed that let His will be done and not mine.
So the SOOCA day, I was as sure as
ever that I will get the case I wanted. Soooooo, yeap I got the LEPROSY case!!!
Out of fourteen cases available, I got the one I wanted!!! I laugh and I was
amazed about HOW WONDERFUL THIS GOD OF MINE. His name is JESUS CHRIST!
After making the flipchart, I went to
the presentation room, I got my miracle number two: the examiner was my
tutor!!! EXACTLY LIKE WHAT I PRAYED. Even my tutor said “Wah hoki yaa..” which
means that I was lucky. Hahaha. I said to him that I was praying to get this
case, hehe.
The examiners didn’t tell me the
grade. But I praise God for this miracle today. For the wondrous things He has
done today, in every SOOCA I passed. It is not because of my strength, but it is
because of His grace. I don’t say I have a big faith, it is really small, but
maybe it is enough to bring miracle. Jesus, you are so wonderful and I’m really
happy that I can call you my Father. God this is surely a miracle…
SOOCA was the first exams in this
final exams of seventh semester. There still will be MDE, BHP, PHOP, OSCE, and
minor thesis examinations. Please pray for me, friends :)
I hope that you all can experience
God in everything you do, with His special way for you! Just remember, He can
do wondrous things! Just have faith and believe him!
